Today, a storm brewing over Caulfield Train Station

The courtyard of the Fremantle prison, where prisoners washed their (toilet) buckets and bought items from the tuckshop, watched by guards in the tower above them.

This is the flogging post found in a recently decommissioned prison in Fremantle, the harbor town of Perth. Inmates sentenced to flogging were bound to the post and then lashed with a can-o-nine-tails!
